Your compliance with these guidelines is essential to ensure the safe and responsible ownership of Christensen Knives.

Key Considerations

1. Proper Use of a Knife:

- Understand that a knife is a tool designed for cutting and slicing. Always use it for its intended purpose.

- Do not employ your handmade knife as a substitute for a pry bar, screwdriver, hammer, shovel, baton, punch, chisel, spear, climbing aid, or throwing weapon. It should only be used for cutting and slicing tasks.

2. A Knife is Not a Multi-tool:

- Heavy chopping, twisting, or scraping actions, such as bowl making, can result in chipped or rolled edges and may even cause complete blade failure.

- Damage such as chipping, edge rolling, broken tips, bends, twists, loss of heat treatment, or complete blade failure is not covered under return policy. The same applies to chipped, cracked, or separated scales.

3. Handling a Knife Sheath:

- Exercise extreme caution when sheathing and unsheathing your knife, doing so in a deliberate and safe manner.

- If your knife is accompanied by a leather sheath, always keep your hand clear of the sheath's tip. Cowhide leather sheaths are durable, but even a sharp knife can cut through leather, so it's important to handle it with caution and care.
